This 10-song Preview EP is only a small sample of the 24-song 2-hour long Rock Opera, "The Life and Times of Eddie Gage" by Aldo Nova

The Life and Times of Eddie Gage is a Rock Opera by Aldo Nova that took 33 years to finish. Aldo's vision began on June 6th of 1989, and it was finally finished on November 11th, 2021, it is a labor of love and was done with passion and dedication and Aldo Nova's perseverance in the face of all the negative comments, having the door slammed on him by numerous record companies and people telling him that it wasn't good, period.

Aldo made a conscious decision in 2008 to stop writing, producing, and basically not working with any other artist than himself, even if that meant starving, which he did, but he had a vision of making a Rock Opera and wrote his very first song for it, Go on, on February 8th, 2008. he recorded his first set of songs in 2008 and all those songs appear on the album today along with songs written in 2011, 2013, 2015, and in 2019 and 2020, he wrote many of the songs that appear in the final version. In 2019, the album was finished and was mastered by the great Bob Ludwig, probably one of the best mastering engineers in the world who had mastered all of Aldo's albums since his very first one. But on May 12th, 2020 Aldo wrote the song When All is Said and Done which was an important and pivotal character in the Rock Opera and Aldo finally knew that his vision was complete. He sent the track to Bob Ludwig and had Bob reassemble the record with the new song put in where the character appeared in the Rock Opera. But again on November 10th of 2021, Aldo was inspired one night and wrote and recorded hi last and final piece of music for his Opera, because he felt that it needed a m majestic ending. The song was “Les Anges” and now ends both the 10-song EP and the whole 25-song Rock Opera, “The Life and Times of Eddie Gage”

Aldo sings all the songs and morphs his voice to fit each character and style.

In 2022, Aldo Nova is a slave to the system no longer, owning all the rights to the songs, the publishing, the masters and he is the artist and the album is on his own record label, Viral Records. It is, as is everything on this album and all his projects, and all his projects are self-financed.
